Heilsa,
The weather was outstanding for an afternoon in the park in armor. Those
of you who did not attend missed one of the better fighter practices
that Steppes has had in some time - not due to the weather but more
importantly due to the level of fighting that was demonstrated this
afternoon.
First - a huge Thank You to the Sir Daffydd and Sir Asoph Hearts, in
case for some who do not know these two fine knights are from up north -
meaning along the Red River and points north. I wish that I could say
that they came down for our fighter practice this past Sunday, but I can
not. Both of them came down for a celebration party for Sir Romanius
Vesperianus. They stayed overnight and came out to Steppes fighter
practice. This was a spur of the moment. Thus only Sir Daffydd had his
armor with him and he suited up to not only practice but more
importantly provided instruction to one and all who fought with him and
those who asked.
The Steppes 12th Night Committee also came out and met under the
pavilion to discuss issues with this important event which will happen
in the next 3 weeks - January 8th. Are you going? Time is running is out.
In attendance:
Sir Daffydd
Sir Asoph Hearts
Sir Baron Qadi 'Abd al-Mahdi Jamal ibn Hakim - Baron of Steppes

always appear on the left side of each fight.
