[Steppes] Riding on the storm

It was a wild ride up the toll way. Everyone seems to forget how to drive
on wet pavement when lighting decides to give us a show.

But it was incredible! The most spectacular one was when I saw a blue glow
in the clouds then a bright flash on the ground a mile in front of me and
9 white bolts of lighting reaching for the clouds from the spot on the
ground to meet the blue glow.

It is an image that I am not likely to forget for a very long time and
will attempt to put to canvas soon....

The ride home had us poor cars surrounded with lines of lightening every
where I looked, every inch of me tingled with electricity by the time I
got home.

No damage to the car that I could see or to our home. But my cat, man,
poor thing got left outside, his long hair was definitely on end. Lectured
hubby when we got in .... ;)
