  Good for you, signing up to volunteer at Warlord!  Both waterbearing and gate are great places to meet people!     They have seats and shade at gate.  You will get to hang out and be the first person most folks see when they arrive.  Some folks will be in garb others will change later.  It's neat to see people for the first time in mundane clothes and then try to recognize them in garb.  :)  Waterbearing is kinda like being a cross between the hot dog and peanuts person at the ball game and the water guy in the corner of a boxing match.  But instead, you  serve water, Gatorade, pickles, and oranges, then after the  fighters go at it, if your lucky, you get to squirt water through their helm grills!  Pretty fun!  They are also two very impotant jobs.
