If you don't mind using plastic you can get 6.5 gal buckets at The Homebrew HQ for $9.95 a piece. I have found that they work just as well for beer but have not made any Mead as of yet. Ck it out for yourself   www.homebrewhq.com  Nice guy went down and met him the other day. Being new to the area don't know where to get anything! But as far as home brew shops he has some rather good deals there!
