[Steppes] Steppes Fighter Practice - 11-28-2004

Heilsa,

Thanksgiving has come and gone
The table just memories
The relatives whether in-law or outlaw
Left for their journey

The skies overcast and gray
Wind with a slight chill
Perfect - for armor

Thus the those who felt the need
Not for speed
But for sweet sound of rattan
Gathered within the park

The following was in attendance:

The fights that I recall:

Hrafn fighting with great ax vs Robert fighting with round and sword
Roc sparring with spear vs Hrafn with great ax and sword
Hrafn being aggressive with round and sword vs Roc fighting with spear
Mike vs Hrafn - both using bucklers and swords
Robert with round and sword vs Roc with shield and sword
Hosey fighting Florentine vs Robert with round and sword

Centurion Morgan watching closely from the sidelines as his shoulder 
continues to heal - providing instruction to Robert in using the round 
shield

Hrafn fighting with the round shield and sword vs Robert with a shield 
and sword.

Roc vs Hosey - both fighting Florentine
Hrafn vs Roc - both fighting Florentine

Centurion Morgan providing additional instruction in both offense and 
defense use of a shield to one and all.

Mike vs Hrafn both fighting Florentine
Hosey vs Mike both fighting Florentine.

Doc had an major armor failure which force him to withdraw from the field.

Next Sunday is the Joint War practice which will be held at Veterans 
Park in Arlington. Check the ELfsea web site if you need directions. 
Start time is 2 PM.
