[Steppes] Steppes Fighter Practice - 10-03-2004

Heilsa,

This past Sunday was the 1st weekend of October which brought overcast
skies and temperatures that were wonderful to be outside out in a park
with friends, even more delightful to don armor and fight with your
friends.

A good many individuals had traveled to bear witness of the events that
unfolded at Crown tournament.

In attendance this fighter practice:

Hosey with his children Tori, Jon, and Nikko.

Centurion Morgan and Lady Ciannait. Although Morgan did not fight due to
his shoulder, he offer up his time in instruction to various fighters.

Roc - who is moving next weekend along with Duncan and Kitty. They will
be starting their move on Saturday, 10-09-2004.
Icia and Kitty were not present, they were at home preparing for their
move.

Three fighters traveled over from Elfsea to join the practice this past
Sunday:
Justin,
Clint,
Christopher,

Hrafn - who is recovering from an injury to his elbow, who did not
fight.

Josh,
Matt and Nicole,
Geoffrey,
Bran,
Corwin,
Eric and Stephanie with their children,
Chiara and her daughter - Victoria,
Connor and his son Brock,
Linda and her son Levi.
and myself - Michael

People who don armor to fight: 12 total.
Hosey, Roc, Matt, Duncan, Bran, Geoffrey, Connor, Eric, Michael, Justin,
Clint, and Christopher.

Total attendance: 31 individuals.

The following are the fights that I recall, am I sure that there was
more:

Hosey spent time in conducting a 10 point sword drill with Bran. 
Geoffrey vs Hosey both fighting with swords and shields.

Matt vs Duncan - Matt fighting with sword and shield vs Duncan with two
swords, with one inverted in placed of a shield. This is a good training
drill to understand the correct placement of the inverted sword in
preparation to switching to a shield.

Connor vs Eric - Connor with a short "pointed stick" (think Monty
Python) vs Eric sword and shield.

Bran vs Connor both fighting with swords and shields.

Clint vs Christopher - both fighting with swords and shields.

Christopher vs Justin - both fighting with swords and shields.

Justin vs Clint - both fighting with swords and shields.

Roc vs Justin - both fighting with swords and shields.
Roc vs Clint - both fighting with swords and shields.
Roc vs Christopher - both fighting with swords and shields.

Geoffrey vs Connor - both fighting with swords and shields.

Michael in full armor conducting solo drills with combat archery.
Michael provided combat archery instruction to Roc.
