[Steppes] Warlord XXXI - with updates

Steppes Warlord XXXI 

May 28th - 31st 

Come and join us in Ansteorra's Largest and longest running heavy and light fighting event. Steppes Warlord and Steppes Champion formats are double elimination, single bout. Steppes Warlord on Saturday, Steppes Champion on Sunday. Come cheer them on!

There will be several exciting Archery tourneys, including a novice and children's tourney. Steppes Archer to be held on Sunday.

Equestrians to have an thrilling obstacle course, using a  double elimination format.

There will be a wonderful Knife, Spear and Axe competition.

Kids will have a great time at the Children's boffer tourney.

There are many activities in the hall, including an on-site embroidery,  cartography and map making competitions, dancing, ask a herald, the library, children's activities, and much more...

This year's concept for the A&S Competition , headed by Don Eisen, is functional or useful items.  Bring your item with 1 to 2 page documentation (not required, however)

The Bardic competition will be on Sunday night, with the format being single piece, unlimited time. Come sit and enjoy the wondrous weaving of words.

Site is at Canton First Monday Trade days in Canton Texas. The site opens on Friday, May 28 at noon and closes Monday, May 31 at noon. 
Adults $12.00, Children aged 6-17, $7.00, aged 5 and under free Family cap, $38.00, limited to parents and their minor children or wards.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.
Proof of membership to be shown at gate to avoid the $3.00 adult non-member surcharge. 

Pets are allowed, but must be on leash at all times.  Must surrender copy of current shot records to gate at time of entry to the event.  

Reserved RV camping is $20.00 a night this year, and will have to be reserved before the event (contact me).  
Merchants welcome.
