[Steppes] Gulf Wars 2005 - Gift Basket Project and Group Camping

No other Barony had claimed period games so I claimed them for the Steppes. I was thinking of Nine Man Morris, Shut the Box and Tablero. I have a book of Period games that others could be pulled from, but these I have tried out and I know that the directions make sense. Also, my favorite court game Ship, Captain, Mate & crew only requires dice, directions and a bag. It would be nice to have a game set of 2-4 games for each kingdom.

...And if you sew a tube around the perimeter of the board and thread a
cord through it, the board becomes a draw-string bag for the playing
pieces.

I like the idea of games. With a textile board, they become eminently
portable, and are not horribly difficult to produce. Once the Barony
settles on which game(s) to produce, I can draft patterns easily for the
boards. The pieces, perhaps another Guild would do?

I'm planning to be at Gulf War unless Ld. David gets a client that
requires travelling. Sueko will likely have to miss this year due to
school schedules. I can transport gear again, if the group wishes.
Borek, I'd do almost anything to have you in charge of the running of
Steppes Camp!
