Greetings, The Steppes,
Last night at Populace meeting, Lady Kate handed off the boxes for
soldiers project that we had begun in memory of Frederick. This
morning, I inventoried the two boxes, and am now thrilled to report
their contents to you:
10 games
2 packages disposable razors
2 packages of packages of crackers (think lunch box)
5 small notepads
18 tubs of pudding
Lemonade mix
3 bottles body wash
1 folding brush
3 fabric "loofahs"
4 10-pks tissues
2 tennis ball toys
1 sewing kit
10 books
3 bottles bug cream
2 'bottles' bug wipes
3 screwdriver sets
1 tube antibiotic cream
1 tube anti-itch cream
2 packages of pens
2 pads letter paper
This is an ongoing project for the duration. Please watch sales and
"Dollar bins" for items to send when you're in a store. We also need
notes and photos for the folks (Thanks, HE Muirann for doing those!).
And, of course, financial donations to pay the postage.
My hope is to send out a box each month with whatever's been collected
to that point. Since I don't get around as much as I'd like too, if
you'd like to be a collection point, please do contact me!
Ever in Service,
Gerita del Mare
