Depending on what material you plan on using, (I used black plastic, and
it 
looks ok) the biggest cost of decent looking japanese armor is gonna be
the 
lacing. Save yourself some money and order a gross of whatever colors
you 
are going to use from www.lacesforless.com I didint, and I spent about
twice 
what I would have for less lacing than I could have gotten.

As for kabuto, well, I made mine. Some decent ones are available for
modest 
prices from bokolo's armory and truehearth armories.

Of couse the armorer I work for can make you one, but it wont be as
cheap, 
money wise. One like mine would run about $300-375
