[Steppes] Pattern Sale at JoAnn's

For those of you needing patterns to sew that 12th Night Garb -- Thurs, Fri,
and Sat, October 28-30, JoAnn's is having a sale on patterns.  McCall's and
Butterick patterns are .99 each and Vogue patterns are 75% off regular
price.

Vogue has reintroduced a GLOVE pattern.  It is #7949 or V0638.  The pattern
is mostly period with regular and gauntlet style.  The thumb is a separate
piece
but the forchets (gussets between fingers) will need to be modified to be
period.  The pattern shows to cut them straight and then stitch a dart at
the
center to change from a straight shape into the proper "L" shaped piece.  At
75%
off the pattern costs $4.24 + tax.  A real bargin.  Please check with Chiara
