[Steppes] Steppes Fighter Practice - 11-21-2004

Heilsa,

The day was gray and overcast with a cool wind blowing. A smaller than 
normal group traveled to Mary Heads Carter (MHC) park for the normal 
fighter practice that was schedule for this day.

Hrafn
Lochlain (sp?) and I believe his son - Liam.
Josh
Centurion Morgan arrived after the Steeler game was over.
and myself - Michael Fray. I had attended Autumn Melees Friday and 
Saturday and drove back Saturday night along with Hosey.

Fights that I recall:

Hrafn with sword and round vs Lochlain fighting with shield and sword.
Lochlain with shield and sword vs Josh fighting with great sword.

Both Hrafn and Lochlain providing instructions to Josh in proper welding 
a great sword.

Josh with great sword vs Hrafn with round and sword.

Hrafn fighting with a glaive vs Lochlain with shield and sword.

Lochlain fighting with shield and sword vs Hrafn fighting with the great 
sword.

Josh fighting with round and sword vs Lochlain fighting with shield and  
sword.

Centurion Morgan had arrived just prior to the above fight, watch for a 
couple of passes and then stepped in to provided additional instructions 
to Josh in the proper means of using a round shield. Hrafn as well 
providing additional suggestions since he normal fights with that round 
shield. Lochlain shared some of his techniques when facing an opponent 
with a round shield.

Toward the end of the day in the park, the air had turned cooler with a 
bit of a chill to it and there was some mist spotting the windshields.

Over all, it was enjoyable practice and fun was had by all.
