To all my friends,
I want to thank you all and let you know how much I value and am blessed
by your care and concern. The calls, visits, flowers, cards, candy,
stuffed animals and assistance in my home have meant so much. I would
not have made it this far without you and the love and support given me.
I am feeling stronger and improving, sometimes having not so good and
then much better days, looking forward to the future and being in it
with all of you. I still tire easily, but the naps needed to recover
are getting shorter. The cats have set up a day/night shift to look
after me, but Judy sleeps on the couch for most of hers. (However I
have no doubt, that if needed she would immediately spring into
action!) Lola, on the other hand follows me about and stays close to me
during her night shift.
I start Chemo on Monday next week. It will be 3 days a week every two
weeks for six months. This means that I will be finished in time for
Steppes Warlord. (Who is autocrating? Do you need any help? ;) ) I
will be out of work for a while longer. When I do go back, the Doctors
have said that I will be able to work 1/2 days for a bit and then
gradually add on hours. Days I do chemo will be another matter
altogether. We will see.
I may have been slowed down, but I am not going to be stopped by this.
Again, I thank everyone for your support and care. I feel blessed that
I have all of you in my life.
Love,
Martha/Muireann
