Frisco Community Theatre announces auditions for William Shakespeare's
"MACBETH"

Saturday, December 18, 2004 - 2:00pm
Monday, December 20, 2004 - 7:00pm
CALLBACKS (and additional auditions if needed) on Wednesday, December 22 at 7:00pm

Performance Dates:  February 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 18, 19 @ 8:00 pm and February 20 @ 2:00 pm
Rehearsals begin on January 2nd.

Auditions and rehearsals are at the theatre - 7700 Camellia, Frisco.

ANGUS, a noblemen of Scotland
CAITHNESS, a noblemen of Scotland
SIWARD, Earl of Northumberland, general of the English forces
* SEYTON, an officer attending on Macbeth
* DOCTOR
* SOLDIER
* PORTER
* AN OLD MAN
* LORD
* SERGEANT

CHARACTERS - BOYS:
FLEANCE, Banquo's son
YOUNG SIWARD, son of the Earl of Northumberland

* = will be doubled.  Others may also be doubled.

Prepare a short monologue or recitation from ANY OTHER source, preferably not Shakespeare.  Try to keep it to the posted one-minute limit.
There will also be cold readings from the script and tests of your ability to move, with or without a sword.
Given that most of the characters are Scottish, anyone faking a British accent will be disregarded.
