[Steppes] Steppes Fighter Practice - 4-17-2005

Heilsa,

A beautiful, but windy day with a strong breeze with a slight chill to 
it. A reminder with the days getting longer - meaning that the sun will 
be  shinning - please use sun screen. This applies to the fighters as 
well, after all the sun will shine upon thy face through the grill.

Important - bring water and other liquid (other than beer of course), 
plus any types of snacks you might wish to have - such as bananas, 
pickles, oranges, apples, etc...

A shade pavilion, small one, will be brought out starting next week - 
will need some help in setting it up and taking it down.  If other 
people wish to bring out theirs, please do. Or if you need to dry out a 
pavilion and need space to do so, then come out and we will help you set 
it up and take it down.

As always there was gathering after practice at one of the local buffets 
in the area for dinner to share food and each other's company. This is 
open to any who would like to join in.

Those who are in training to fight tournaments, two separate squares 
were set-up to represent the type of squares one would fight in at a 
tournament at an event. The squares were 25 ft in size and were made of 
made marked upon the ground. The rope was supplied by Lord CinaedOHosey.

Mike and his son MIkey, are moving to Seattle next week, a job change. 
We will missed both of you. Good luck in the move and the new job.
