Tis' true our seneschal has wished to avoid any such elevation for a very long 
time.  Had it not been for his name change from Pierce to Jon it would most 
likely happen long ago.  With the path(s) he has selected he shall most likely 
not be able to avoid it much longer, however I would suggest any further discussion 
on this subject be moved from the Steppes mailing list.
 
In the meantime should you wish to torment him with something, might I suggest 
using his student's name "Arcarius".  There are three such "Arcus Majoris" (won't 
be using that term much longer) students within the Steppes area, Arcarius Linet, 
Arcarius Alvin, & Arcarius Jon (our seneschal) all on the same path.  You may spot 
them by the red students' armguard with the black Ansteorran star upon it which 
each one wears.
