[Steppes] Lindenwood Meeting Minutes for March 2005

These are the meeting minutes for the March Populace Meeting for the 
Canton of Lindenwood:

Officers' Reports:
Exchequer: Lady Aldreda states that we have money in the bank. The storage 
unit is paid to March 31st.

Chronicler: Lady Aimiliona continues to send monthly notices to her 
address list. If you want to be included on this list, contact her.

Seneschal: The following offices are open for bid: Herald, A&S Minister, 
Knight Marshal, Hospitaler, SENESCHAL, & EXCHEQUER

I have received NO BIDS. It is imparative that we have a seneschal and an 
exchequer. The Canton will be dissolved if these two positions are not 
filled. It cannot exist without them by the rules of our Society and we 
will have no choice. The warrant for our current Exchequer is up in June 2005.
The warrant for our current Seneschal is up in October 2005.

In addition, our funds are severely down after only breaking even or going 
at a loss for our last several events, due mainly to paying for the 
Canton's storage unit. On Saturday, March 19 at 2:00pm we will be meeting 
at the storage unit at Storage USA off 183 in Irving, TX. The facility is 
on the access road opposite the mall between Esters and Beltline exits. We 
will be going through the Canton's property and determining what can stay 
and what goes in order to fit into a smaller, less expensive unit until 
the end of June. What we do after June will be determined by the status of 
the Canton at that time.

Events:
Midsummer Masked Ball:
 	Lady Aimiliona of Hare's Keep and Master Philip White are the 
co-autocrats for this event, to be held on Saturday, June 25, 2005. There 
will be further announcements as the event approaches.

Fundraiders: 
We will be holding a raffle at Steppes Warlord in order to generate funds 
for the Canton to continue operating and funding it's events and expenses. 
I would like to publically thank Duchess Willow, Mistress Kalida, 
Honorable Lady Suzanna, Lord Agilwulf, and Lady Aldreda for their generous 
promises of some very special and lovely items to be given away at the 
raffle. We will continue to accept donated items up to Warlord. Those that 
the Canton receives in time will be photographed digitally and displayed 
on a webpage to advertise the raffle. An announcement will be made in 
future about the ticket prices.

The next populace meeting will be on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30pm at the 
Jaycee Park Arts Center in Irving. The address is 2000 Airport Freeway, 
Irving, Tx, 75038.
