Lady Lorraine,

As the Central Region Hospitaler I have been in contact with a gentleman who 
is part of a group that will be starting a new Renaissance/Medieval Fair in 
the vicinity of the city of Hillboro which is between the DFW area and Waco. 
They are planning on breaking ground on the site late this summer or early 
fall.

They very much want an SCA presence, and have expressed that we have a 
"blank canvas" to work with for this. I have spoken with the Barons of both 
Elfsea and The Steppes and they are very interested in this project. I have 
also spoken with the Central Region Archery Marshal to get his input and 
assistance.

As I have not had the opportunity to watch any equestrian activity at events 
yet, I would like to find out if any of the equestrian activities might fit 
in with this project.
