I spun some embroidery thread from some wool that I'd dyed some sort of 
burgundy colors and am partially through with one board.  I'd wanted to play 
with blackwork-style stitching (can't wait to see how Katya's comes out) but 
I've not done much so I think I'm sticking with something simpler so that 
I'll finish it in time.

I've been promised a long-wallowing LoTR marathon one day soon now that 
we've got all three, so I'm thinking that'll be great project time.  Uh, 
yeah, got this project to do...that's why I need to sit in front of the TV 
that long.  Yeah.  Oh, the sacrifice. <dramatic pose>

I went to the last sewing thing and we did actually work and talk at the 
same time, so do come if you can make it--the more the merrier and we 
promise to keep you working :)

And yes, Gerita, I'll be there.
