Aislyn,

Well, for fabric painting, I found the 'Lumiere' blue paint looked nice for my
first board.  But, the real advantage was that I found all of these wonderful
mini-stencils that look really good (Michael's and Jo-Ann's)!  They work with
fabric and/or stencil paints.  Gerita lined the entire game board with one of
the repeating patterns and put a scrollwork pattern in the center of a 9 Man's
Morris board!  It looked fantastic and it was quick!  I hope you don't mind,
but I'm also going to post this to the Steppes list to show that there are
other options besides embroidery.
