[Steppes] Archery practice 01/30/05

Good Gentles,

Things look like they will be a bit damp come Sunday morn, so we are in 
'play it by ear' status. I will check the field tomorrow and see what 
condition it is in and whether a bit more of a sprinkle will mess anything 
up. If I see significant rain on the radar on Sunday morning, or the field 
is just a mess, I will be posting a cancellation notice by 8 a.m.

If we do have practice, please wear your garb. Our guest has been planning 
on this weekend, but the weather may foul him up, too. It's actually been 
kind of nice having everyone garbed and looks really sharp. Y'all can keep 
it up! ;)

On the positive side...The new buttes arrived today. I don't know if they 
will be making their debut Sunday or not, but they are here, and safely 
packaged and stored in the foyer for the moment (to my sister's dismay.) I'm 
glad they didn't arrive yesterday when it was so wet.

In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed and make the appropriate 
offerings to the weather gods.
