[Steppes] Steppes Fighter Practice - 01-30-2005

Heilsa,

The day as you all know started off gray and overcast with a slight hint 
of humidity that falls from the sky - or rain as some might call it in 
the morning hours. By  1 PM, it was beginning to come down in steady 
waves although never what one might call huge drops, add in the wind 
which at times seem to drop the temperature even more, plus the low 40's 
and it was weather for the hardy to venture into...

A Reminder for the next two Joint War Practices prior to Gulf Wars this 
year -

The next Joint War Practice will be held at Veterans Park in Arlington 
on February 6th, 2005 at 2 PM.  There will be NO combat archery at this 
park. See Elfsea web site if unsure about  directions.

The last Joint War practice will be held on March 6th, 2005 at Mary 
Heads Carter park in Carrollton at 2 PM. This is the last opportunity 
for a War Practice prior for those leaving for Gulf Wars. There will be 
Combat Archery at this practice.

Mike received his new helm from Roc - it is a great helm.

Defensive and Offensive moves were discussed and movements were walked 
through in regards to both by all in preparation for both next week 
Joint War practice at Elfsea on February 6th, 2005 in Veterans Park in 
Arlington.

And yes, we did NOT armor and fight this day - Wish to Thank all of the 
above who made the journey for coming out. See you next Sunday in
