I don't think he was one of the Berkeley group.

He was Yang the Merciless (or was it Nauseating), from the Dark Horde.  Met
him once. Loved his books.

He was not a likable character in person, but that was about 20 years ago.
He would have had to have aged a lot longer for me.....In an oak
barrel....with a bung in it.

Not totally off topic.  I noticed Robert Aspirin is one of the featured
guests.
 I believe he did the 'Myth Adventures' book series?  Correct me if I'm
wrong,
but wasn't he also one of the original Society founders back in Berkeley,
CA,
in the 60's?
