June 7, 2005

Greetings Unto the Populace of the Steppes. As I am not able to attend
Business Meeting this evening, I would like to address my report here.

The previous Historian and I are making arrangements to transfer the archives.
I am still planning to coordinate a history revel sometime soon. I had hoped
to have it in June at our home, but the Seneschal reminded me of all of the
busy weekends before that time. We have not finished remodeling, and I am
afraid that June 18th is a bit too soon to have the revel as mentioned at last
Business Meeting. There has been a suggestion that the revel could be held
elsewhere other than our place on a different date. I have had an offer and am
taking this into consideration.

I will be contacting several of you 'Elders' of the Steppes for your
participation in the revel. We will need photos, slides, stories, items to
show (that have major stories with them), and items and stories towards a
memoriam of lost friends. His Excellency, Master Robin of Gillwell, has
offered to help put together a history trivia handout for the revel. Should be
a lot of fun!! I will let you all know when we come up with a better date for
the Revel. It will be on a Saturday to be sure. Should we make it a potluck
or just party goodies?

Remember, our history is not only what keeps us together, but it can also shape
things to come!

In Service to the Barony of the Steppes and to the Kingdom of Ansteorra, I
remain, as always...

Respectfully Yours,
Honourable Lady Gabrielle Honorée de Saint Pierre
Historian to the Barony of the Steppes
