Texas Renaissance Festival (or TRF). Most of us still refer to it as THE
Renfaire.

Sounds wonderful! I wish we still had the SCA compound out there, though. We
had the armory and the gate house we could sleep in. I've never had to pay.
What kind of sleeping accomodations do people make and how much is the entry
fee? You can't do the whole thing in a day. I really miss it! Octoberfest
sounds fun. And ladies, if you drink, my doctor says you should double up on
folic acid tablets. If you want details on this, email me privately.

Anyway, I'd like to go, the question is when can I and how much $$$.

“Of course I know how to work it,” said Lupin, waving his hand impatiently, “I helped write it. I’m ‘Mooney’ – that was my friends’ nickname for me.” (p.254)... “... And that’s how we came to write the Marauder’s Map, and sign it with our nicknames. Sirius is ‘Padfoot.’ Peter is ‘Wormtail.’ James was ‘Prongs.’ ” (p. 260) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. J.K. Rowling. Bloomsbury Publishing, London (1999).
