Heilsa,

Arose to meet warm and humid
Winds picked up toward night
Turning to meet normals of year
Chill by twilight, yet not
Promises of rain - still not met

Giant killers were Purple
Setting records 3
While Eagles swoop upon 'Boys

There has been discussion concerning another War Practice
on December 4th at this time. Time is running out, since
Border March is this coming weekend and Thanksgiving is
the next weekend and the 4th of December is the following
week. Sister Barony - Elfsea will be attending a Yule revel
on that weekend, so not sure if Elfsea would be present.

Schedule of certain events:
Normal Fighter Practice
Sunday Afternoons - 2 PM to 6 PM
Mary Heads Carter (MHC) Park, Carrollton
Loaner Armor available - 1st come, 1st serve

Border March Autumn Melees (BAM) will be held this weekend
November 17th through 20th. Some people will be making the
trip and others will not for various reasons.

There will some people who will MHC this coming Sunday. Not sure
how much armor will be available. So if people wish to come out
and have some fun and perhaps get in some fighting.

The usual reminder:
Please bring at least 1 gallon or more of water and gatorade. I
recommend 2 gallons of fluids and snacks to replenish your
energy levels. Plus, various types of snacks - cold pickles
- oranges - energy bars - etc...
- Bring Chairs for you to sit upon. There are two water fountains in the
park, plus
there are several stores close by that carry these items and more.

Fighter Practice involves just that - practice and training.
To reach our goals, then both words come into focus.

Training involves separate levels -
Basic level to "good"
Man-At-Arms and/or Squire entry level
Centurion level
Tournament level

Practice is to reach the above levels, maintain those same levels,
then going beyond those levels to stretch one's boundaries.

At the end of practice, all who was present joined together at one
of the local buffets in the area for Sunday dinner.
