And the weather has moderated, the usual reminder:

recommend 2 gallons of fluids and snacks to replenish your
energy levels. Plus, various types of snacks - cold pickles
- oranges - energy bars - etc...
- Bring Chairs for you to sit upon.
Fighter Practice involves just that - practice and training.
To reach our goals, then both words come into focus.
Training involves separate levels -
Basic level to "good"
Man-At-Arms and/or Squire entry level
Centurion level
Tournament level
War Fighting
Some wonder how to reach the upper levels of skill.
Answer is simple -
Come out,
Get into armor
and Practice.
If you are used to fighting in one style which works fine,
yet does not when faced with a different style,
then open your eyes and smell and hear that sweet sound of rattan
as it comes your way,
right pass your defense. :)
Answer is simple:
Listen to those with more experience with an open mind.
Come out,
Get into armor
and Practice.
Afterall, if they attempting to explain to you what is happening,
then they do care about you - as their rattan makes contact with you.
So, grin and bear it -
for your day will come. :)
Of course, there is always the Dark side...the true Vision,
Come and we shall speak of that Vision,
To meld with the Darkness as Night progress,
Pay heed to my words,
Those so sweet, gentle and soft words of,
Seduction concerning
The Vision for your ears only,
Listen as I speak of unbelievable heights of fame,
Where one and all,
On both sides of battle
Will shout out various forms of address/greetings to/of you,
And when you become "good",
Then all will greet you in one fashion or another!
Just remember - a good relationship with shield walls,
Helps when one has heard and embraced the Vision
Come and hear of the true Vision! :)
