The day was of Sun
Warmth with blue skies
Mid 50's, for more than week trailing
Small gathering to enjoy the day.

The 'Boys skinned
While the dragonboat sprung a leak
Neither was good for the day.

Next Joint War Practice:
January 1st
Steppes - Mary Heads Carter (MHC) in Carrollton
2 PM until 5 or 6 PM or when light fails.
Yes, it is the 1st day of the new year - treat it just like you would
if you party too hard the night before at a War event.

  The usual reminder:
Please bring at least 1 gallon or more of water and gatorade. I
recommend 2 gallons of fluids and snacks to replenish your
energy levels. Plus, various types of snacks - cold pickles
- oranges - energy bars - etc... - Bring Chairs for you to sit upon.
- Perhaps a grill to heat drinks and/or snack food
- Dress for the weather and bring extra for additional layers as well.
