For those interested in volunteering with the North Texas Irish Festival,
other than helping out with the SCA demo, the volunteer meeting will be
Sunday, January 29 at 2pm at the Radisson Hotel on Central Expressway
between Mockingbird and Yale on the east side.  Address is 6060 N Central
Expressway

I also would like for us to put on a good display inside, as well as a small
combat demo outside (weather permitting, and if people are willing) at
NTIF.  The display we had last year earned us second place in  the cultural
displays category.  We lost first place to a civil war group.  They had
truly museum quality displays and typed documentation.  It looked pro.

I think getting first place would be neat, but it would require laurel prize
tourney level displays.  My small contributions are no where near that good,
but several of you have that ability in spades.
