[Steppes] Steppes Artisan Pre-registration

As a Steppes Artisan, let me see if I can clarify this issue.  As a courtesy, 
1 or 2 tables are set aside for Steppes Artisans to display new things or 
representative things that got them their title.  Since my receiving this honor, 
I cannot think of a time that I did not bring something to display.  There was 
one time when there were not enough tables or space for all the competitors, 
so we agreed not to make a deal of it and gave up our table.  The rule of 
thumb is that if preregistration shows that space will be tight, the Artisans 
limit themselves to a maximum of 1 table, and then only if there is still room for 
those not competing, but wanting constructive comments on their arts.  
Always, the emphasis is on those who have not yet received the title of Steppes 
Artisan, whether serious competitor or those who want to display only with 
comments.

If space is indeed that tight this year, we will again insist on giving up 
our display space for other artists.  

I hope that this clarifies this issue somewhat.

P.S.  By the way, like being an Oak, just because a new one is created it 
doesn't mean that those who already have the title are now deemed "past" 
Artisans.  One doesn't lose the title of Steppes Artisan, one only becomes a prior 
winner of the title.  From Master Da'ud, to our newest Steppes Artisan, Baroness 
Rixande, we are all Steppes Artisans.
