[Steppes] Update on Mistress Kalida

The latest update...after a visit to see Kalida today, I'm glad I suggested 
that anyone who wanted to visit wait until today at the earliest!  While she's 
up in a chair and healing, she's still in quite a bit of pain and not very 
much herself yet.  She did send her appreciation for all the well-wishing and 
prayers and her congradulations to Ciard and Vincenzo for their well-deserved 
recognition at Kingdom A&S.  

I think that phone calls to her room would be welcome (especially considering 
the weather -- it had started to snow at the hospital when I was leaving!). 
And in case you've already deleted that email, the direct line is 214-590-3725 
and her room number is 725.  At this time, it looks as if the earliest she'll 
be allowed to go home is Wednesday (and I seriously doubt it will be before 
Thursday).

As an aside to all the fiber enthusiasts, a visit to Zale-Lipshy is not a 
hardship, either!  EVERYWHERE in the halls and rooms are framed textiles that had 
me gawking on the way in and on my way out!  There are brocades, embroidery, 
prints -- you name the type of fiber decoration, it's there!
