An acquaintence who works for a company out of Oregon has a job opening at 
their facility here in DFW.  They're having a tough time finding a smart 
self starting individual for the position.  The location is just north of

Job Title: Warehouse-Inventory Coordinator Hourly/Salary:

Direct Supervisor Title: Inventory Manager Date: March 2006

Department: Inventory Pay Range:

GENERAL PURPOSE: Work at Vendor operated warehouse to coordinate inventory 
and

warehouse use for Vestas America's Central Stocking facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


 Oversees onsite inventory storage, organization and functions for party 
operated warehouse.


 Ensures timely posting of all inventory transactions such as receiving, 
shipping, and stock

transfers.


 Maintains consumption reports to effectively update reorder points on a 
quarterly basis (as a

minimum).


 Coordinates the receipt storage and consolidated return of all defective 
inventory (with

support from head office).


 Ensures cleanup of all locations such as empty stock locations, INBND, 
In-transit and

defective locations. This will be maintained on a monthly basis.


 Coordinate, along with 3 party warehouse staff, the completion of monthly 
cycle counts, and

bi-annual physical inventories.


 On-site Vestas representative following up on any warehouse related issues 
such as late

orders, order enors or other site concerns.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & SKILLS REQUIRED:


 High school education or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.


 3 - 5 years of inventory or warehouse experience.


 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.


 2 years experience in customer Service.


 US DOT certification in shipping hazardous materials (prefer UPS).


 Ability to read and interpret material safety data sheets.


 Familiarity with inventory administration.


 Strong computer software, communication and organizational skills.

SCOPE:


 Decision-Making: Generally follows routine procedures with little 
independent decisionmaking;

performs work independently - little supervision.


 Impact: Moderate impact. Results of this job could cause loss to the 
company. May impact

results for 3 to 6 months.


 Interaction: Regularly interacts with personnel in the same department and 
in other

departments.
