[Steppes] Inkle looms

I am sending a post that is similar to what I sent to Elfsea.  I am looking for an Inkle loom (table size).  I have looked on the Internet where they are in the $50 to $70 range, but I have been advised that I need to make sure I get one that is made of a good strong hardwood like maple or oak.  Is there anyone out there who makes them to sell or has one that I could buy or borrow to get started?  Any other advice would also be appreciated.
