[Steppes] problems reading steppes archives

hello;

sometime in the afternoon on 23 jul 2007, all e-mail
lists hosted by lists.ansteorra.org had their archives
set to read by members only. before that time i was
reading the steppes e-mail list via the archives on
the lists.ansteorra.org web site. since that date and
time i had to become a member of the steppes e-mail
list so that i may continue to read the steppes e-mail
list.

many of the lists i use to read are not available unless
i become a member of the list.
