The "Knights of the Brown Bottle" aka Home Brew
Club of Arlington, Texas has a statewide "Homebrew
Stores" link on their web page you might find
useful:

http://hbd.org/kobb/main.html

or if you just want to talk to some local brewers
for advise you can contact the "SLAB" aka Steppes
Loose Association of Brewers yahoo group at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/steppeslooseassociationofbrewers

email-

steppeslooseassociationofbrewers at yahoogroups.com

Jon Rolfson is one of the founding members of the
SLAB and very likely one of the better mead makers
within the metroplex area, just ask anyone whom has
been lucky enough to try his handiwork. He has
some great mead recipes I'm sure he would be glad
to share if you contact him.

Good luck with the brew kettle!
