Heilsa,
Sunday One Week after Warlord
Woke to Sound of Drops striking upon Roof and Pane
Wonderfully indeed that sound for June
Cloud that appears to be of Shelf
Moving Fast - 40 to 60 mph
Almost on the par with Rattan striking
Day advance and Sun came from Behind Clouds
Wind from North West by North -
Sounds catchy - A movie title of the same
Perhaps of years ago
High got to be upper 80's - 87
Despite the rain - the park drains extremely well
The grass was a delight to fight upon
Nor was there mud upon that field
Even at the end of the day.
A new fighter came out
And don armor for the 1st time
Although small in status
Could not say the same of their Heart
For it Large indeed was their willingness
To learn the Art of Rattan and Shield
Thanks to Sir Morgan for the introductory to
the basic of heavy fighting to lady Viviana.

If you are a member of the SCA, meaning that you have a
current "Blue Card" then you must present it at each practice
prior to taking the field and not have to sign the waiver.
On the other hand, if you do NOT have a "Blue Card", then you must
signed the waiver.
Please start drinking extra water several days prior to the day
of practice.
This is also true of going to an event, be it SCA related or not.
You will have a better time and enjoy yourself more
if you are hydrate before you start your activity.
Energy drinks may give you a lift, but will not carry you as far,
when compared to water and gatorade.
Remember - Pace yourself!
Everyone needs to bring water to the park. I would recommend
the following:
Please bring at least 1 gallon or more of water and gatorade
to replenish your energy levels if you are in armor and fighting.
Suggested of items you might wish to bring out:
- cold pickles
- oranges - energy bars - etc...
- Bring Chairs for you to sit upon.
