Speaking for myself, unless I know the person or they are in garb with their little doodads or brass hats on, I wouldn't know a "noble, peer or officer" from a hole in the ground. So I go by the rule that we are all milords & ladies. and try to show the respect I would wish to receive.

Many of us may not know or may have forgotten some of the techniques used in the business world to diffuse difficult situations. > > Also, there are proper channels in which to make a legitimate complaint against an officer, noble, or peer, and it wouldn't hurt to have a reminder of what those are.> > Saqra> > -----Original Message-----> From: Sir Morgan Buchanan <morganbuchanan at hotmail.com>> To: Steppes List <steppes at lists.ansteorra.org>> Sent: Tue, 26 Jun 2007 1:10 pm> Subject: Re: [Steppes] Gate Issues (was Discouraging / Encouraging)> > > > As Baroness Alys pointed out, gate is an opportunity for bad communication > o occur on both sides of the coin.
