[Steppes] OT: How do you make a bowstring?

Could I ask the good Bowyers out there, to tell me how one would make a bow string for a Welsh (okay, English) Longbow? I would really appreciate it!

Also, if any good Fletcher out there wouldn't mind being on call for questions about the basics of their craft, I would appreciate it.
