[Steppes] Steppes Check In for Icy Weather...

"Stay warm", she says.  As if -- I woke to -11F this morning, saw it dip to -12F, and the bank clock on the way to work showed a balmy -7F.   (Sunday night I watched the temperature drop 42 degrees in about nine hours.)
 
Of course, I *am* still in central Wisconsin.  That might just be making a difference this week. . .  
 
The re-freeze after the weekend thaw was more of an issue the last two days than the new precipitation, although that may change this afternoon and evening.  The forecast shows up to three inches or so on top of what was left behind, with at least some wind to drift up what does make it to the ground.
 
Believe me, I'll be home just as soon as practical after the contract ends (possible update forthcoming, "Watch This Space").
