If you're sanding a lathed piece, keep the piece in the lathe and hold a strip of sandpaper on the piece while it's turning to finish sand it. It's the fastest and easiest way to do it. Just make sure the sandpaper is thin enough to get into all the crevices without gouging the wood. Faelan
