[Steppes] Call to Arms!

Greetings!
 
We are requesting assistance from you our populous of the Barony 
of the Steppes in the name of King Bela of Hungary to gather your 
arms & armor to intercept a threat approaching us from the kingdom 
to the east before they reach our very own gates!  
 
These invaders know storms have ravaged our regions to the south 
and we can expect little or no aid while they are attempting restore 
their shattered lands.  They also believe us weakened and plan to 
take advantage of our kingdom's misfortune by plundering and 
burning their way threw our central region while they can!  
 
These invading Mongols led by Batu Khan (Sir Gethin Albrit of 
Gleann Abainnn) claims his heather army shall lay waste to all 
whom oppose him and shall reach the Shire of Rosenfeld in less 
then a week!  King Bela (our own Centurion Almar Bjarnklo of 
southern Steppes) gathers what troops he can muster and plans to 
stop them there.  Your assistance to help stop this pack of mongrel 
dogs from the kingdom east is desperately needed!  We have little 
time to march and need fighters, archers, horsemen and support 
volunteers, artisans & bards to sings the tales of glory to come!  
 
Centurion Almar stepped into the role of King Bela very late as a 
replacement principal and there has been little time to prepare.  We 
shall not offer any false hope here, we are the underdog in this 
endeavor.  We are out numbered with few resources but still plan to 
make it as difficult as possible for those whom would dare to enter 
Ansteorra with woeful intent.  With your help we even may manage 
to scatter these cur dogs with tails tucked  between their legs back 
to the east from whence they have come!
 
There is little reward to be had other than the honor of defending 
our kingdom, our homes and our land, but we plan to share what 
we have with those whom come to our aid.  A few have already 
answered the call,  The Draconian Horde has pledged it's support, 
although few in number they plan to open their larders help feed 
the camp Saturday night and send what warriors, archers and 
volunteers they have.  Members from the Steppes Loose Association 
of Brewers have already pledged fifteen gallons of homebrewed ale 
to the cause.  Regardless of the outcome we should have a very 
good time!
 
So please gather your households, your war bands, yourselves and 
come help support King Bela of Hungary during Rosenfled's "Battle 
of Three Kings" event at the Hawkins County (RV) Park site in 
Hawkin, Texas this next weekend.
