It might have curved east, but it killed people as far north as Illinois! It is being talked about as one of the oddest behaving hurricane since they started tracking them. Imagine, it was still at tropical storm strength when it crossed into Canada!

The storm curved east - is why they got it worse. The storm didn't come
traight up the middle of texas - but curved towards the east. But it had
eakened alot by time it got to Longview at least.
nd the storm didn't do as much damage as predicted once it came off the
oast.
