Oops, it looks as if somewhere along the line the attachment got stripped off. If you are interested, please contact me directly and I will send you a copy of my current bibliography.

Subject: [Steppes] My own version of open library...

Not to take anything away from Master Robin and Mistress Serena's Open Library
nights, but I'm trying to find out if there is any interest in an Open Library
night on Textile Arts. In the course of doing a significant research project, my
library on this topic has expanded tremendously. And rather than be greedy or
parsimonious with them, I'm willing to make them available for research for our
other textile artists.

If you are interested, please contact me off-list. If we do end up doing this as
a group activity, I hope that someone has a small copier or scanner that they
can bring for the benefit of all. While I trust people in the SCA to be good
about books, these are currently in use for my own research, and I can't let
them be borrowed at this time. But you can copy as much as you like.? Some of
these are relatively rare and hard to find, or out of print.

I'm attaching a Word document that lists what is available currently, although
three more are on their way.

Also, if someone would cross-post to Elfsea and Glaslyn, I would appreciate it.

HL Saqra al-Kudsi

P.S. And if you have books that are not on my list and want to bring them along,
that would be great! Just remember to mark your books as yours...mine will have
labels inside.?

And if someone has North European Textiles until AD 1000, by Lise Bender
Jorgensen and would be willing to let me see it, I will bless you!
