[Steppes] Steppes Warlord Announcement

Greetings!
Bids closed for Warlord XXXVI today. It is my pleasure to announce that Master Richard Fairbourne will be the Steward for this year's event. 

He has a long history of running successful events, and I'm very excited to be working with him. Because we are getting a bit of a late start, we will need all of your help and participation to make this year's event a success. 

At business meeting this coming Monday (3/2), we will be discussing the event and hopefully gathering names for department heads and volunteers that we still need to establish. Richard has said that he would love to use this as an opportunity to help some of our newer members learn about running Warlord. Please take him up on this offer if you can.

I want to thank Richard for his bid and his help and discussions with me, the financial committee for reviewing the proposed budget and for their continued support, Baroness Katheryn for her help and guidance, as well as Countess Maggie our Central Regional Seneschal.
