Jean or Martha!  Can you contact me privately at one of the email addresses above, please?  I just read your message about "Flounder" and I can send you a photo of him.

Here is a picture Dave sent of Flounder, their cat.  Picture is
attached.  They don't know what they will have to do with him.  He's
an adorable cat.  Wish we could take him but we have leather furniture -
cats and leather don't mix.  Can anyone help?

Gabrielle

    I might be
interested depending upon whether or not he can co-exist with our eccentric
polydactyl Lola.  I’d like a photo of him and will need to talk to
Dave, of course.  What is the kitty’s name and is there a photo him?
I was looking at two cats at the Siamese
 Rescue-Texas Center ,
so if someone else wants him, that’s OK.

    Hope you’re
feeling better, dear, and that your skin problem is improved.  Martha is
getting some really nasty chemo these days, so she is not out much.  However,
after two more treatments she’s going to have massive tests done, after
which the doc will decide if she can stop.  Send a prayer or two to your
favorite deity for her, please?  She really wants to get back to work and
get on with her life.  Poor kid.  Could you possibly send her a card
with a really good looking hunk on the front to brighten her day?  Or
possibly something funny?  Thanks!

You’re not going to believe this, but Martha’s
aunt Anne is paying to have our house cleaned from top to bottom on
Friday.  Yes!  I’ve spent the last two months boxing up tons o’Stuff
for a future garage sale, throwing away huge bags of junk, moving the good
stuff out to the garage, and enjoying every bit of it.  Once it gets out
of the house, it’s not getting back in without a fight. ;)  In order
to avoid the dust-up (literally!), Martha will be ensconced at a local Best Western
tonight & Friday night.

Whew!  ‘Lots to do.  Hugs to John.

Jean

Dear all,

My brother-in-law (Dave Mays, John's brother) and his wife need to find a good,
loving home for their cat.  They just had a baby, but they also found out
that their one-year-old is allergic to cats.  He breaks out when he
touches him.  Dave posted this on Facebook.

"Doyou know anyone that would give a loving home to a gentleman cat
ageapprox. 12?  He was a rescue cat we got early in our marriage and
heloves to be cuddled. The problem is that Cam
is a great cuddler thathappens to be very allergic to cats. We have tried to
keep them apartbut this morning he got down and played with him while Lisanne
wascooking. When she looked up he was laying on the cat like he was apillow.
His neck is really broken out!  Help if you can. He is a prettyMaine Coon
mix that is gray."HL Gabrielle Honoree de Saint Pierre
