Internet Hoax Warns To Stay Away From Wal-Mart

1 of 1A disturbing email and text messages have been circulating, warning people to stay away from local Wal-Marts. 

Like many things heard on the internet, this is a hoax. 

Several worried viewers contacted CBS 11 News & TXA 21 News. They were worried about stories of gang initiations at stores would cause violence. 

According to Snopes.com, this is an urban myth that circulates every few years. For some reason, it sprouted up in North Texas Thursday
