Members of the Populace,
As herald to Her Excellency it is with great honor that I relay the glad tidings from our beloved Warlord event. Many from the Steppes and our good neighbors of Elfsea were honored. Starting with our newest champions:
Sir Tomas--Warlord
HL Rixende--Queen of Love and Beauty
Don Bendan MacEwen--Steppes Champion
Lady Anna MacEwen--Queen of Grace and Honor
Master/Don Robin of Gilwell--Steppes Bard (and a substantial terror on both the chivalric and rapier combat fields!)
Robin of Northkeep--Steppes Archer
VIVAT the Champions!
Awards given by their Majesties (in no particular order):
Ari d' Aragon, Cadet to Dona Conal--Queens Rapier (and an outstanding showing into the semi-finals of one of the most demanding lists Warlord has seen in several years, I am told)
Brian U'lliam, Cadet to Don Brian--Sable Talon (along with his magnificent showing into the rapier finals, finally falling to the flashing blade of Don Brendan)
Carol Macdonald--Sable Crane
Master/Don Duncan Hepburn--"The Hepburn" was elevated to Laurel with grand pomp and dignity.
HL Fiacha the Blue--Order of the Centurians of the Sable Star
William Blackdragon--Iris of Merit
Lochlan Dunn--Sable Thistle for work in pewter casting
Lynoya de Grey--Sable Talon
Grace di Giacomo--Award of Arms
Padraig mac Alastair--Rising Star
Lord Cathal--Sable Talon (awarded on the field during the Warlord tournament)
Awards given by HE Katheryn: (again in no particular order)
Geoffrey Sparhauk--Acorn of the Steppes
Ekaterina Iadorovna Kharlampieva--Sable Talon (archery)
HE Xene--Sable Comet for service in the Canton of Lindenwood
Don Brendan Macewen--Grice of the Steppes
Don Ingve of York--Grice of the Steppes
VIVAT the honorees!
Finally, a shamless plug to all of you locals who worked on names and devices at our informal herald's table: Please send them to me ASAP. My contact details are on the Steppes website. If you need additional consultation, I am here to serve your needs.
I must ask your leave to pardon any mispellings of any names, any incorrect and/or missing titles, and finally, to forgive your humble herald if I have left out any awards from this informal list.
In humble service, and severe fatigue,
Giovanni
Oakenwald
