I have seen many folks in the chiv and rapier communities using palm-size gray stones for removing rust from their metal gear.
Are these pumice or a similar compound?
Do you use oil or wax before grinding?
Finally, where can you get them? I have found a number of products on the web, but not sure if I am looking at the same thing.
