Greetings Steppes,

Busy Busy Busy - Long post but stuff you need to know.

December Business Meeting
Just a reminder that we will be having December business meeting in a new place, Dimassi's Med. Buffet on Beltline, just East of the Toll Road on December 7th at 7pm. We should have our own little room. We have so much going on I wanted to remind all of you, especially the autocrats, that you need to think about any checks that you need before the end of the year (to be cleared this year) so that we can let our Exchequer get them ready during business meeting (rather than making her run around on the weekends like I've done lately - Bad Seneschal - sorry Katya). There is much to discuss at the meeting. Please try to be there. I will have information about the Baronial polling and upcoming events.

December Populace
December Yule Revel will be at the home of Master Robin and Mistress Serena on Friday, December 18th. We will have our usual white elephant gift exchange I assume - somebody correct that if you need to. This will be starting at 7:30 pm. Their address is: 7135 Vinland St, Dallas, TX 75227-1829.

Twelfth Night
Twelfth Night is January 2nd at the Athen's Fisheries Center. Please come out and have a good time!

January Business Meeting
January Business Meeting is on January 4th location is TBD. If we like the new place we'll go back, otherwise we'll be at NewNew or another new place to try

January Populace and Baronial Polling
Populace in January will be at the Haggard Plano Library in the large Program Room on Thursday January 21st. The Library's address is: 2501 Coit Rd. Plano Texas 75075. I know this is pretty far North, but a large room like this was hard to come by and I thought this was better than a huge crowd descending on someone's home. The meeting is on Thursday because the candidates may have to travel to Round Table for their interviews with the Crown on Friday evening. We
will have some quiet live period music (courtesy of the music guild)
playing in the background - one recorder, maybe a violin. The room will
open at 7pm We have to be through at 9pm. We will probably start the polling at 8pm to give people time to get there. There is seating for 100.

If any of this changes I will update you at business meeting and we will publish all of this in the newsletter.

I will be out of town for Thanksgiving and going off the grid for a bit - so if you have questions, just know I won't email you until Friday or Saturday. Please ask if you need to though. It will just take me a bit of time to get back to you due to the holiday.

That is all for now,

Best Wishes for a Happy and SAFE Thanksgiving!

Susanna, Steppes Seneschal
