[Steppes] Steppes Archery Practice Sunday 4/18/10, is canceled due to rain!

OK, OK!  No since waiting any longer, my backyard is a lake, I'm 
sure the Eastfield range is in similar condition.  Even if the rain 
stops the ground won't have time to drain.  So we concede and 
bow to the will of the elements, Steppes archery is canceled!  

Hopefully we'll have dry field next Sunday, hope to see you then!

Archery Practice is held at Eastfield College 3737 
Motley Drive in Mesquite just north of the I-30 overpass 
next to the tennis courts.  Parking can be found at the 
alley end of the parking lot of the Baptist church across 
thestreet. 

We begin practice around 10 AM (SCA time) andfinish up 
around 1PM (unless we arehaving too much fun to leave 
of course).  We have loaner gear to try and lot's of helpful 
archers willing to instruct and offer those all important tips 
like "The pointy end goes in the target!".  

So come join us for a morning of fun lofting feathered 
shafts down range!  We hope to see you there!
